The fursuit watch rule #35: When you see a fursuiter needing a pair of pants on, chances are it's modified down south for 'practical purposes'. And Anubis here is never without a loincloth.
Whenever you see some of these fur suits, it becomes the embodiment of our childhood, happiness, the perfect innocence we lost long ago (To me this is especially so with the fursuiter "Pup" in the third picture.) or even the open door to the perfect dream world.
Only to discover the harsh reality that some people, with their own radical idea of "freedom", decides to include the very things that we are trying so hard to escape from. It destroys your heart like a child discovering mom was a whore. Frown

Fursuits are one of the more obvious aspect of furries' role in the body-politics I mentioned. When you're unhappy with with how you look, you'd want to change it, and these days, a lot of things depend on outward impressions, and there's a lot more control we have of our "image" (online or otherwise). From spa treatments to gyms to fashion trends to fursuits... it's about getting your body to look the way you think you want it. Of course, the latter is more often done out of fun, and as a hobby, than the latter.

Now this is one awsome dragon (scale?)suit. According to some sources, the person behind the suit is the famed artist Helvetica Bold. Wonder if that is true.

Damn didn't know they were going to sell these at the con.

Here's a video of those huskies?/wolves?

Now I don't know about you guys but I think I've found a winner :

That greenback in the hand, and the bunny ears... made that photo rather surreal. Big smile

Hm, either direct-linking doesn't seem to be allowed for Yakeo's folder in the site... or my connection's on the fritz. I'd figure the former, since there's something like "Sorry, the image "albums/FurryCon/FurtherConfusion/FC2005/tosort/Yakeo/img_1744.jpg" doesn't exist: Permission denied" looking back at me here.

EDIT:
Ha? Boleh pulak. Eeeiiii, aku cekik benda ni karang...!

Speak of the devil! Guess the furcon not only attracted the best in the fandom, it also brought the worst as well.

Yes, the dude talking to the cops is the symbol of hatred against furries : Sibe!
Thats him talking to some cops who were brought in to confront him and before the FC security escorted him out of the con.
Now him and that girl he's with is creating unrest and uncertainty about the whole thing in LiveJournal.
