The orange-pelted form emerged from the flickering computer screen, and laid a warm kiss on her...

Considering the fandom... *puts a mini hourglass on the table* ...there's gonna be Firefox fanfics and (eep) morally-ambiguous artwork, eventually. Ehem. Considering the fandom, that is. Yeah. >.> <.<

And Kyuu Ronso, you hang out at Adam Wan's site often? Big smile

You're many months too late, the first to make porn of FireFox are not furs, but animetards. I remember coming across some FireFox-tan smut on 4chan's /b/-board a long time ago. You thought furry was bad, nothing is sacred to hentai-otakus, from Chiyo porn to Cardcaptor Sakura, you name it and chances are they've already smeared it around ungracefully.

Then later came the crappy and sad attempt at Firefox from the a sad folk of VCL. (those without proper understanding of art should not be allowed to even think of making porn)

I kill you with chopsticks.

If you want to search for those stuff you can add to Firefox just click on the "loading circle" on the upper right of your browser (its default location) to goto Firefox's website and click on "Extensions" to go get the list of cool add-ons for your browser. Firefox is pretty lame without any of these, so here is my choice of essential extensions for FireFox :

- All-In-One Gestures - Really helpful in using your mouse to its full potential
- Disable Targets For Downloads - It does help in removing some of those annoying blank windows when you try to download something
- Download Manager Tweak - Never leave home without this, it changes that annoying Download window to either a Tab or a Sidebar
- FlashGot - The essential tool to integrate your browser to GetRight, FlashGet or almost any download managers. It even provides a "FlashGot All" function which helps you automatically gets all the links in the webpage you are viewing. Ex : Goto a VCL artist's page, click "FlashGot All" and all of the links to pictures (even the html links to other pages unfortunately) are automatically placed into your download manager.
- Hotmail Tabs - Helps browse Bill's annoying and troublesome e-mail service
- Image Toolbar - Missed the small image toolbar in IE that pops up when you hover over an image and provides buttons to save or copy an image?
- MiniT Drag Indicator - This tool helps you change the order of your tabs arrangements (Eg: You can drag your tabs around to change their order so you could keep your Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail tabs side by side on the right or where ever you like). Its kinda hard to find though. Use the search function on FireFox site to help you find the old version of this tool then use the link there to access the creator's website for the updated version. I'll include the link direct to his site anyway.
- Plain Text Links - Allows you to highlight a section of normal text then choose to treat that highlighted text as a URL and open it in the current tab or new tab
- Resize Search Box - Why the original developers didn't thought of this in the first place is beyond me. The small Google search bar at the top of your browser can be resized anytime with this extension.
- Show Image - Hate to reload an entire page everytime an image fails to load up? Use this extension then right click on a failed image and click "Show Image" to ask the browser to reload that image only.
- Tab Clicking Options - Allows more customizable mouse control to your tabs. Ex: Clicking middle button to close tabs, Ctrl-click to duplicate tab, Shift-click to reload tabs...
- TabBrowser Preferences - Even more control to your tabbed browsing
- Slim Extension List - Helps reduce the size of your Extension List after you're done downloading all of these extensions Winking

These are really helpful extentions but I don't use them often. You could give them a look :
- FoxyTunes - I don't use this extension since Winamp comes with its own "Global Hotkeys" plugin which is a lot easier in controlling your player from other windows.
- Add Bookmark Here - Allows an option on all of your Bookmark toolbars to easily bookmark a page
- Download Sort - Sorts downloaded file types to appropriate locations
- EasyGestures - Brings out a cool circular menu with butt loads of customizable options. Warning : This extension would complicate matters with the All-In-One Gestures extension. I would not reccommend using this together with the other extension unless you have one those mice with more than 3 buttons.
- Download Statusbar - Places small download status bars at the bottom of your screen for each download.

As for themes, there is only one

I think I'm the only odd one out here.

I have up to 3 browsers installed at any given time. Why?

Well, being an owner of my iBook for 3 years, Safari is the default choice. Firefox is next on the line, but I only use it for browsing non-Safari compatible pages. That and I use it to view Blogspot pages (certain Blogspot themes and Safari don't get along very well). And then, of course, there is IE. Of course, it's IE 5.2 for the Mac. A version older, but at least I get to log-on to view my exam results on NP's website.

But in short, Safari and Firefox originate from similar coding.

Oh, and virus? What virus?

:-P
