FireFox : A Furry's Internet Browser?
Tried out FireFox for a few minutes and I have begun to notice that this browser has some cool stuff that really helps. However that is only the tip of the ice berg. Surfing through Extensions (or Plugins) that I could download from its site, I've have customized and added so many functions I could use in the browser that I can't remember how to use them all Tongue
The best Extensions are like the mouse gestures where you can move the mouse in a formation and it will do certain functions. Example: like it will open (or save) all the links you've circled in that formation. So much easier now to surf VCL and DA 8) Then there is an autodownload function where it scans all the links on the website and downloads the files!! 8)
And its free!!
Now why is it so hard for the big MS-BS to do this simple stuff and charge us for it???
And the best part : the icon is so much cooler!!! LOL!

That is rather impressive. The mouse gesture Extension plonks the mind back towards that game, Black & White.

I'm not very technical, so I use Firefox mostly for the the Tabs (who's a multi-window freak? *raises paw*), and when IE acts like a big bi-yotch middleperson with the ActiveX controls.

But still, I use IE to test web pages, 'cause Micro$oft has been absorbed into more of my friends' computers than others.

And the icon, as you say, doesn't hurt at all. Big smile

Anything that has animals attached to it is apparently furry. Cerebus is confounded. Cerebus tries to ask foolish azn hacker to look at codes but cannot find fur on anything, even on scrolling green japanese nonsensical haiku.

Then Cerebus ate azn hacker.

I didn't say it was a furry internet browser. I asked if it was a furry's internet browser.

I understand what you mean. Some of my friends designed their sites mainly for IE users, and that sometimes causes a bit of a problem with Firefox. Am actively brainwashing, err... I meant encouraging them to dump IE and use Firefox!

Btw...

*Raises paw*

Multi window freak here! xD

Hmm, just installed it yesterday and w00t! the interface is quite good. And yup, I like the availability of extensions freely for download. Big smile

*Raise paw too*

I have an average of 6+ browser windows open when I surf. XD

Don't touch me. I'm evil.

I'm finally being converted from a IE user to a Firefox user. The features are just so cool. And there's a way to speed up the surfing speed on Firefox. X3

what i mean is a plug in that can speed up your surfing the web using Firefox. It's called Chromedit. ut it's only compatible to Firefox version 0.9 only. Not for the latest 1.0. But there is a way to crack it so that it will work. After installing it, the page will load pretty fast, even using Streamyx.
