MouseCat's Art Dump

Hey. Recently I've started a webcomic over at SJ, and while everyone looks anorexic right now, I think I'd have fixed that after a few chapters. Not in manga style screentoning. That SJ is a link.

Really impressive style you have for that comic. Although the initial plot and the dialog seems confusing and rather insufficient, hopefully its just random "sound bites" at the start till the main storyline begins Winking

RE: MouseCat's Art Dump
I guess, though I didn't call it sound bites or anything. Since the first chapter introduces a lot of characters, adding more words would lengthen it, and show stuff about characters that people aren't attached to yet. It was too soon. And I wanted to reach the next chapter quickly, which would be hopefully funny to readers.

I tried drawing myself in the more common furry style.

And this is me trying out blur and stuff.

It would be safe to assume that realistic portraits isn't your forte and that your style really shines through the cell-shaded cartoonic style Winking

RE: MouseCat's Art Dump
Lately I just don't feel like drawing. When I do get the urge I'm usually busy doing something else like projects and assignments.

My laptop was reformatted earlier so I should start fresh. Maybe redo a webcomic I started and neglected. I'll post some new art when I make them.

Any links to that web comic? Tongue

It is a lot harder than most people would imagine to maintain a webcomic. Hope you do know what you need to allocate to keep one running :/

RE: MouseCat's Art Dump
That webcomic of mine had about 10 pages done. It was on smackjeeves, but it also has its own site and I was planning on completely moving it there after the first chapter is done. But then school happened and turns out working on a webcomic is like working instead of having fun in my free time.

I was thinking of making a lot of pages and scripts first for buffer but... it never really worked out. A terrible first try, but this will be my second so it should end better.

I don't want to link, it's kind of embarrassing.
