So... how many "My Little Pony" fans do we have here in AA? ^_^
They seem to have taken over the intarwebs... seriously, I must've seen at least 3 new MLP fan webcomics submitted to the Belfry over the past week. And I probably don't even need to mention the number of MLP avatars over at FA.
MLP:FiM is actually amusing to me personally, because it's quite representative of the jokes I wrote and storyboarded for a Cartoon Network series. The management got cold feet during production and ultimately censored them. D'oh! (I really screwed around with the storyboards). I'm glad someone else was able to take the risk and run with it!
Pinkie Pie FTW.

not me sadly XD
but i have to admit, the latest cycle seemed more.... modern. i sat through 1 episode and i didn't think it was too bad of an episode.

And I do not see links in your post to those fan web comics.

Not so hardcore to extent to call myself a fan, but I do watch them now and then when I feel like it.

Funny how some of the fandom is going all up in hooves over MLP:FiM, but most of my fellow brother horses aren't even batting an eyelid. You would imagine us horses just worshipping the series, but that just isn't the case.
We're the real deal, yo. Bro-hoof.

One comic seems to be completely made up of cut-and-paste screenshots of episodes, while the other seems like a badly copied made-in-China replica.
None of these comics dare to experiment to find new styles or mess with the recipe (and being as perfect as it is, who could blame them)
To be fair, maybe I was expecting too much of them and partially hoping for something on the scale of Bleedman's PowerPuff Doujinshi

My sentiments exactly. It reminded me of when people figured out how to rip sprites from video games, and a whole slew of 8-bit comics invaded the web...

Slightly off-topic, but out of curiosity, are there any horse-centric comics you like? I haven't found much (only Red Shetland and Equine from waaaay back).
